Concierge Practices

I know that they will always be a market for concierge practices (where you pay an annual fee for complete access to a doctor.) I don't think it fits me personally. Primary care used to be about personal care 15-20 years ago, and it should still be that way today. That's why I still call my patients about lab results. That's why I give my cell phone number and email address to my patients. Even though I don't have extended hours, everyone can still get a hold of me if they need to. I don't charge extra for that personal touch. I feel that this approach gives you the best care possible.
