AMENITIES

During your visit, take advantage of the tranquility garden at Emory Johns Creek Hospital, then relax in our tranquil reception area while you listen to music and surf the Internet with our free Wi-Fi connection.

The benefits of a small practice

When you arrive at our office you will be greeted by the same warm, friendly staff, as well as see Dr. Ro every time. Familiarity between our staff and your family helps us to meet your needs better and faster than large practices where you may never see the same doctor twice. We also offer same-day appointments for your convenience.

Get to know Dr. Ro

Feel free to make a no-cost appointment to get to know Dr. Ro and his staff. Since this is not a regular doctor’s visit, no exam, treatment or medical advice will be given.
You may also access Dr. Ro’s information and credentials on the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners’ (Georgia Medical Board) web site at www.medicalboard.georgia.gov.

Test and lab results

We don’t practice: “No news is good news.” If you don’t hear from us within 10 days of your test, please give us a call to go over your results. In most situations, you will need to make an appointment to discuss detailed or multiple test results. When results are normal and simple, you will hear from Dr. Ro or the staff. If necessary, you will receive a letter detailing the results in case we are unable to contact you.

Prescription refills

Please call our office during regular hours to request prescription refills. In some cases you may need to make an appointment in order to get more refills, as the length of time between your appointments determines the number of refills you may receive. Please allow 24 hours for prescriptions to be filled. Controlled substances (such as narcotics) will usually require an office visit for refills. Refill requests can be sent by phone or by email. Please include your name and date of birth along with the medication info when requesting refills.

Fees & payment

We accept cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Payment is expected at the time of your visit. At your visit, you will be required to pay the deductible and any balance due. You will be assessed a $35 fee for checks returned to us due to insufficient funds. We will only send you a bill if your insurance company doesn’t pay for the services provided. Fees can occur for treatments, procedures and labs that are not covered by your insurance plan. There may be a charge for copying your medical records.

Medical insurances we accept

We participate in most plans. Here are a few: Medicare, Aetna, Cigna, Coventry, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Humana and United HealthCare. We don't accept Medicaid or PeachCare.
